Matt Rife brings his stand-up comedy to Thompson Boling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville on January 8, 2027. This event is listed on ticketsknoxvilletn.com under Knoxville Concerts and the Comedy category.

Matt Rife Biography and Event Details

Ohio-born comedian Matt Rife built his career through years of club performances before reaching a wider audience with viral crowd-work clips in 2022. His style combines improvisational audience interaction, dating and relationship humor, personal observations, and self-deprecation. The 2023 Netflix special Natural Selection further raised his profile, while the ProbleMATTic World Tour marked his move to arena-sized stages.

Rife is scheduled to perform at the Knoxville arena on January 8, 2027. The supplied event information does not confirm a tour name or opening act for this date; his shows have featured rotating comedians on some tour stops. His performance format is known for spontaneous crowd interaction followed by prepared material, making the audience exchanges a distinctive part of the show.

Knoxville's arena setting brings the event to the city's major live-entertainment district. Because crowd work relies on expressions and quick exchanges, the venue's large screens can help guests follow moments happening onstage. Prices currently start around $120, with seats and availability affecting the final cost.

Venue and Seating Information

Thompson Boling Arena at Food City Center hosts large-scale sports and entertainment events in Knoxville. Arena seating typically includes floor locations and tiered sections around the stage; the exact configuration can vary by event. For comedy, guests who want to see facial expressions and audience interactions may prefer seats with a clear, direct view of the stage and nearby screens.

Before purchasing, review the event's seating map and any view notes for the specific section. Stage layout and screen placement can affect sightlines, and the available information does not identify particular sections as best or worst for this performance.

Parking Information

Parking availability, prices, and operating arrangements can change for individual events. Check current venue guidance before setting out and allow extra time for arena traffic. General options to consider include:

• On-site or arena-area parking, subject to event availability and posted rates.
• Nearby public parking, where spaces and event-day terms may vary.
• Pre-booked parking through an authorized parking provider; confirm the location and restrictions before purchase.
